Secuoya Content Group reported a solid performance in 2023, achieving a turnover of €106.2 million, driven by the remarkable growth of Secuoya Studios. This increase is reflected in a 47.1% rise in EBITDA, which reached €31.9 million, marking an increase of €10.2 million compared to the previous year.
The company has also announced a dividend distribution of €0.30 gross per share, a significant increase over the previous year. This announcement comes one year after the public takeover offer (OPA) that consolidated Secuoya as the only content group with Spanish ownership.
Raúl Berdonés, Executive Chairman of Secuoya Content Group, expressed his satisfaction with the results, highlighting the business strategy focused on intellectual property ownership of productions and its ability to generate recurring revenue. The group’s integrated model, which covers all aspects of audiovisual production, has allowed Secuoya to remain a leader in the sector, with 45% of its EBITDA generated by the studio.
As part of its consolidation strategy, Secuoya confirmed its position as a global studio after acquiring 55% of shares, achieving control of 80% of the company’s stock.
Dividend Distribution and Promising Future
The Board of Directors has approved a total dividend payment of €2.42 million, a fourfold increase from 2022, reflecting a shareholder-focused remuneration policy. The payments will be made in two installments: June 14, 2024, and December 13, 2024.
This financial approach ensures the stability of the business and future growth, reaffirming the group’s strategy to strengthen its position as a leader in the global audiovisual content market.
