Founded in 1998. Gala Capital has completed over 100 investments across diverse industries.

Some historical milestones

Our first investment was Crédito y Docks de Barcelona, a logistics company established in 1883.

Some recent milestones

  • 2024 – Exited SOM Produce via sale to ATG Entertainments (Providence subsidiary).
  • 2022 – Equity swap with Papara created a unicorn; technology portfolio included Rebellion, HeyTrade, Nutrader, and UltrAI.
  • 2021 – Beka Finance acquired Haya Titulizaciones from Cerberus, reaching €23.2 billion AUM.
  • 2020–2023 – Acquired and exited Schiller International University to Gedu.
  • 2020 – Acquired Beka Finance from Bankia; platform grew to ~€20 billion AUM.
  • 2020 – Partial exit from Masmóvil for €124 million.
  • 2018–2020 – Invested in Masmóvil, supporting acquisitions (Yoigo, Pepephone). In 2024, Masmóvil merged with Orange Spain to create MasOrange, the country’s #2 operator.
  • 2019 – Entered hospitality by developing the largest luxury resort in Tulum (Riviera Maya), managed by Marriott.
  • 2019 – Became the largest shareholder in SOM Produce (Billy Elliot, Chicago, Grease). Sold to ATG in 2024.
  • 2018 – Acquired a major stake in Grupo Secuoya, producer of Netflix Spain content (La Casa de Papel, Zorro).
