Beka Finance has taken a decisive step to establish itself as a top-tier investment boutique by incorporating most of BNP Paribas’ investment banking team in Spain. Under the leadership of Carlos Stilianopoulos, this new division, named Acron Beka, will be headed by Arturo García-Tizón, who has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, and will also include Diego Aguinaga and other prominent professionals such as Javier Gil, Pablo Pérez Alba, and Alejandro Delrue.
The team from BNP Paribas was one of the most successful in Spain in 2020, advising on major deals such as KKR, Cinven, and Providence’s acquisition of MásMóvil, Cellnex’s acquisitions, IMF’s takeover bid for Naturgy, and MásMóvil’s offer for Euskaltel, among others.
With this addition, Beka Finance expands its comprehensive offering, which already includes private banking, alternative asset management, real estate investment, an online broker, and a neobank (Rebellion Pay). The group, owned by Gala Capital and chaired by Carlos Tejera, continues its expansion with nearly 200 employees and key hires from major firms like JP Morgan, BBVA, and Andbank to strengthen its various divisions.
