Accountant
Gala Capital is looking for an experienced, hands-on Accountant to join our finance team and manage the day-to-day accounting and tax matters of several companies within the Group.
We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. The role provides exposure to a variety of companies, investments, and transactions, making it particularly well suited for someone who enjoys working in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day accounting: invoices, bank transactions, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, depreciation, and provisions.
- Monthly and year-end closing: preparation of monthly and annual closings and support in the preparation of annual financial statements.
- VAT and tax compliance: preparation and filing of VAT returns, withholding taxes, and other recurring tax obligations.
- Cash management: monitoring bank balances, payments, and collections.
- Audit: preparation of documentation and coordination with external auditors.
- Public authorities: Filing of documentation with the relevant authorities.
- Reporting: preparation of accounting and financial information for Management, as well as support with other financial and administrative matters across the Group.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in an accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting principles and regulations.
- Good command of Excel and accounting software.
- Conversational English.
Qualifications and experience matter, but so do attitude and common sense. We are looking for someone practical, dependable, and willing to get involved, who feels comfortable working in a growing and entrepreneurial environment.

Contable
En Gala Capital buscamos incorporar a nuestro equipo financiero un profesional con experiencia práctica en contabilidad que se encargue del día a día contable y fiscal de varias sociedades del Grupo.
Buscamos una persona que desarrolle su trabajo de forma organizada, rigurosa, resolutiva y con autonomía. Que disfrute trabajando con diferentes tipos de empresas, inversiones y operaciones.
Principales responsabilidades
- Contabilidad diaria: contabilización de facturas, bancos, clientes y proveedores, conciliaciones bancarias, amortizaciones y provisiones.
- Cierres contables: preparación de cierres mensuales y anuales y apoyo en la elaboración de las cuentas anuales.
- IVA y obligaciones fiscales: preparación y presentación de IVA, retenciones y otras obligaciones fiscales habituales.
- Tesorería: seguimiento de posiciones bancarias, cobros y pagos.
- Auditoría: preparación de documentación y colaboración con auditores.
- Administraciones Públicas: preparación y presentación de documentación ante organismos públicos.
- Reporting: preparación de información contable y financiera para la Dirección y apoyo en otras tareas financieras y administrativas del Grupo.
Qué buscamos
- Experiencia previa en puestos de contabilidad.
- Dominio del Plan General Contable español.

Social Media Intern
Gala Capital is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team in Madrid.
This could be a great fit for someone who enjoys social media, communicates naturally and has the imagination to share what we do with our investors, clients and followers in a clear, honest and engaging way.
You don't need to be an expert in finance. We are much more interested in curiosity, creativity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Who We’re Looking For
You may have a background in Marketing, Communications or Advertising, or you may come from a completely different field and be looking for a change of direction. What matters more to us is how you think, how you communicate and how you work with others.
We would particularly like to meet someone who:
- Is fully fluent in English, ideally at native or near-native level. Spanish is a strong plus.
- Brings curiosity, imagination and a willingness to learn, contribute and take initiative.
- Is resourceful, independent and comfortable finding their own way when there isn't an obvious answer.
- Has an international outlook, perhaps through travelling, living or studying abroad, or simply a genuine curiosity about different places, people and ways of thinking.
- Ideally has some familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut or similar, although these are also things you can learn with us.
